Assemble and install components and systems, including pipe/tubing, hoses, fittings, pumps, cylinders, and other related parts, on industrial equipment. 
• Fabricate and assemble structural metal products, such as framework or shells for machinery according to job order, verbal instructions, and blueprints
• Develop layout and plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.
•  Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, drill presses, and edge planers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings to guide the assembly process. 
• Position or align components and parts either manually or with hoists

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of mechanical assembly experience

Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature,

Effective English reading and writing communication skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment. 

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. 

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are needed to diagnose and resolve issues.
