Tests and/or inspects both sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Good hand-eye coordination/manual dexterity and eyesight is important for performance of precise tasks such as positioning very small components accurately, installation and welding of sub-components while using microscopes or other magnifying viewers.
Requirements
Attention to detail for high-quality work, steady hands and the ability to focus intensely on their work, keeping accurate records and reading instructions carefully are also key elements of the job.
Familiarity with using computer systems, basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, and reading the English language would be helpful.
