Set-up and run CNC Mills (Haas VF series). Properly communicate with management to resolve machining and scheduling issues. Maintain safe work practices and an orderly and clean work area utilizing 5S procedures. Understand LEAN manufacturing principles. Read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings. Proper use of Micrometers and Calipers for inspection.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ Vertical Machining Center (VMC) experience. Must be able to operate in a fast and dynamic work environment. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Ability to perform 1st piece inspection. CNC router experience preferred but will train the right candidate. Some CNC programing ability – MasterCAM preferred. Saw operation experience preferred. Knowledge of plastic preferred.
