Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Tool Cutter & Grinder in West Boylston, MA to manufacture and modify precision carbide cutting tools in a clean, climate-controlled facility. Responsibilities include setting up, programming, and operating CNC grinding equipment according to blueprints and written instructions, selecting appropriate grinding wheels, dressing wheels to specifications, and inspecting finished tools to verify dimensions and surface quality. The operator will monitor machining processes, adjust settings as needed, troubleshoot defects, and perform routine cleaning and lubrication. First shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and second shift runs Monday–Friday, 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Pay is $30–$40 per hour based on experience, with overtime as needed.

 

Requirements

Requirements
Must have 2–4 years of experience operating CNC metalworking and grinding machinery, including experience writing or modifying CNC programs. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, use precision measuring and inspection equipment, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers are required. ANCA machine experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with trade school or related college coursework preferred.
